e

mom and daughter

there were words to go with this post, but damn if i don't just want to soak in the love that shines through her in everything she does. we have this nightly ritual. she used to ask: "how 'bout you sad?" and we'd "pretend" sad and then kiss each others woes away. now? she asks me to be mad, grumpy, and mean- and with each emotion i express- she kisses me. she kisses away my mad, my grumpy, my mean... my sad. she is the light of our lives.

not to mention she is in fact the most adorable child on the planet and these pictures prove that.
*wink*

  11. You know how to shoot some beautiful pics! Being such a doggone awesome nurse, imagine how you'd be behind the camera full time! And since the majority of your photographs convey the warmth and love as the one above, one of these same photographs may just end up as a painting or a drawing;0)

  24. I'm so glad to find you again, my computer hard drive crashed a few months ago and I lost touch with some of my favs!!!! When I saw your blog on someone's list, I clicked, I hoped and saw that unbelieveable sweetness of E's smile and twinkling eyes, I felt so happy to have found your family blog, safe and sound, alive and well!!! I'll check in more frequently and catch up on what I've missed. E's been in my heart for a long time and I've missed ya'all.

  25. We do something like that too, pretending the emotions and exaggerating the facial expressions. My personal favorite is the scowl. We don't kiss the woes away, because we always disolve in laughter, which is the emotion we're pretending to avoid.

Wow, she look fantastic in brown.
