nor did anyone tell me we'd both laugh this hard trying to
remove said face paint.
it was decidedly worth the giggles.
i wish sundays lasted a whole week.

Hee!! What a beautiful face!! I, too, wish Sundays could last the week.
ReplyDeleteWonder what kind of paint they used....our reg face painters use something that comes off really easily. We have experienced the hard to remove type of paint. I now keep a jar of baby cream on hand for exactly that purpose.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your day.
Oh dear....it happened here once and I had forgotten all about it. Since Lily no longer has any traces left, I guess it must come off eventually ;O)
ReplyDeleteShe does look beautiful with it though.
:) Facepaint is superglue on a child's face!
ReplyDeleteAhhh Sundays...right there with ya girl. :)
ReplyDeleteShe is just so beautiful, even with the half washed off face paint.
ReplyDeletegood old fashioned cold cream works wonders! Well worth it though!
ReplyDeleteAhhh!!! This is my specialty! You know, being an art teacher & all...try cold cream or baby oil next time! :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute, though, with or without the butterfly! ;)
Shampoo also works. In case there is a next time... :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY!! Hilarious! I love moments like that!

Thanks MUCH for sharing the joy. I'm pretty sure a person could not NOT smile (big) when viewing these photos. Huge heart smiles that make things light.
ReplyDeleteOh, but she is an amazing The Butterfly! (Did she get a rash from it? The Tongginator totally gets a rash from face paint.)
ReplyDeleteshe has the sweetest smile!
ReplyDeleteLove this...totally reminded me of the pic you got of her during your wait...and the story behind it : )
ReplyDeleteI had a temporary tattoo in middle school. My mom tried to wash it off with everything, including eye makeup remover b/c the next day was school pictures. We finally got it off. The next morning I had an abrasion instead of a tattoo. My mom felt so bad. Needless to say, I had pictures taken on make-up day. We learned the following day that they easily come off with baby oil or hairspray.
