Awww...fireworks can be rough...it took Kiara a long time to "kinda like them"...thankfully they don't ruin her sleep any longer, but that phase did go on for awhile. Hope E is doing better today!!
My golden and the cat didn't enjoy last night at all. We stayed home and did pet friendly fireworks as my daughter says. But all around us that was not the case. Still had a great time but both the pets were glad tonight was much quiter.
OH MY.. the tongue! Love it! I remember fireworks scaring the pants of Lily for the first few years.. it has only been the last year or so that she doesn't scream and cover her ears. Krista D
Ev just came around to fireworks last year. Of course the first time that she ever saw them we were right under them and we had chunks of debris raining down on us!
My dogs and baby Narelle aren't great fans of fireworks either. Hard to escape from them in Bangkok though; lots of occasions/excuses for people to launch them, and it seems everyone seizes the opportunity to do so!
I found your blog today..I read it from beginning to end. I am so touched by your story and all the love you have to give and the love you have recieved. You are an amazing woman with a beautiful daughter. I look forward to reading more!

ReplyDeleteSounds like our house last night too - except with 2 terrified dogs and a very terrified little girl. :(

I know for a FACT that he and Lady would be GREAT friends. She could help him through his anxiety. :)
