Mom: I love this picture of you from China in your wheelchair. Look how little you were (pause). I wish I could have known you when you were a baby, I would have liked to have held you then (smiling).
E: Yeah, I was almost 4 when you met me
Mom: Yeah and you were so cute
E: Yeah and I was afraid
Mom: Me too. But we're not afraid anymore
E: Yeah, we love each other
Mom: Yes, we love each other a lot
(hugs, kisses, silence).
